Ockham is a small village and although a few members live in Ockham most live in the surrounding area. We are aged from our 40's to our 80's and have a great time at meetings, we go out to enjoyable places and learn different things, but most importantly we are friends.
We have recentlyy moved to Riple as Ockham Parish Room has closed and we are now based at Ripley Bowls Club. If you are interested, as a woman living in one of the nearby villages in Surrey, do come along; you can be sure of a warm welcome. We start our meetings at 7.45pm and after a speaker or demonstration, we have supper and a cup of tea, finishing about 9.30pm.
We have manyy interests which are covered by speakers at the meetings, and we have varied activities such as a book club, film afternoons, crafts, baking and visits to many places of interest. A full and happy programme.
